2025 Nissan Kicks vs 2024 Kicks Comparison

A Comparison of the 2025 Nissan Kicks vs. the 2024 Kicks

The subcompact Nissan Kicks is the smallest crossover Nissan makes and it's characterized by an intriguing design, an affordable price tag and helpful features. The second-generation Nissan Kicks will reach the market this year with a total exterior and interior refresh. The 2025 Nissan Kicks will also have improved engineering and new features. Here's a look at how the 2025 Kicks compares with the 2024 model that's available right now at Grainger Nissan of Savannah in Savannah, GA.

Here's what's new for 2025 in the Nissan Kicks

The Kicks has been redesigned with updated technology, new styling and more cargo capacity. In addition, it's the first time that the Kicks has been available with all-wheel drive and ProPilot Assist. Nissan's Zero Gravity seats, which were available only in the front row for 2024, are now standard in both the front and the back.

A comparison of performance

The Nissan Kicks for 2025 is slightly bigger than the previous model and its ground clearance has been increased from 7.0 inches up to 8.4 inches. All three trims in the 2024 Nissan Kicks operated with a four-cylinder 1.6-liter engine that generates 122 horsepower. For 2025, the Nissan Kicks raises its performance game with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine that will generate 141 horsepower. The Kicks still operates with a continuously variable transmission but while the 2024 model came only with front-wheel drive, the 2025 version offers an available all-wheel drive system. If you upgrade to all-wheel drive, the 2025 Nissan Kicks will add a Snow driving mode.

Trim levels

The Nissan Kicks for 2025 continues with the same three-trim lineup that was offered in 2024: S, SV and SR. It's worth noting that all-wheel drive is available on all three trim levels for 2025. Pricing hasn't been announced but it's expected that the 2025 Kicks will continue to be extremely affordable with little or no price increase.

A comparison of exterior highlights

The 2024 Nissan Kicks is characterized by a strongly angled hood, defined back fenders and a raked rear. The V-Motion grille includes a chrome element that slopes up to connect with the extended LED headlights. For 2025, the Kicks has been redesigned with a two-tone color scheme along with a tall hood. The roof is now arched and the sides feature a three-spoke wheel design. You'll notice strong accentuation along the bottom of the door panels for the upcoming model year. The 2025 Kicks eliminates the previous grille design and replaces it with a rectangular grille that has long horizontal bars.

A comparison of interiors

The design upgrades continue inside the 2025 Kicks with new flat horizontal display screens angled toward the driver to provide enhanced visibility. The 2025 Kicks willhave a flat-bottom steering wheel with the same stitching as the dashboard and passengers in the back row will get an upgrade in comfort with Nissan's highly-regarded Zero Gravity seats. Climate control functions will be managed on the 2025 SR trim with a haptic touch panel that replaces the traditional dual-dial setup in the 2024 model. The 2025 Nissan Kicks also has increased cargo room with 29 cubic feet behind the second row in front-wheel drive models and 59 cubic feet when you fold down the rear seats.

The 2024 Nissan Kicks comes with a standard 7.0-inch touch screen, a six-speaker audio system, wired Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ and offered an available 8.0-inch touch screen display in the top-level SR trim. With the 2025 Kicks edition, the base still comes with a standard 7.0-inch color touch screen but the SV and SR both give you a 12.3-inch display along with wireless smartphone connectivity. In addition, the 2025 Nissan Kicks will offer a premium Bose sound system that's equipped with 10 speakers. We have 2024 Nissan Kicks models available for a test drive and we expect the 2025 models to arrive this summer at Grainger Nissan of Savannah in Savannah, GA.
