When you come to us at Grainger Nissan in Savannah, GA, there are different rotations that can take place for your vehicle’s tires. The first one is the basic front to back type. This simply consists of taking the front tire from the passenger side and swapping it with the rear tire on the same side. The same goes for the driver's side of the vehicle.
Then there is “the pattern” type of rotation. The front driver's side tire is swapped out with the rear passenger side tire, and then the same is done with the front passenger's side. It is swapped out with the rear driver's side tire. If you have a full sized spare tire, though, the rotation consists of a circular “change-out” of all tires. Depending on how the tires are wearing on your vehicle may also indicate other services that should get done like an alignment.
