2025 Nissan Sentra Release Date

2025 Nissan Sentra Release Date

As a compact sedan, the Nissan Sentra has long been a quality and affordable drive. For 2025, things only appear to be improving as the Sentra is shaping up to be an exciting option thanks to its affordable price tag, updated powertrain, and robust list of technologies. We eagerly anticipate its release later this fall, so continue reading to learn more about this model.

A Sleek & Spacious Design

The 2025 Nissan Sentra doesn't change its appearance for the new model year. It will continue to offer a sleek and modern exterior design that stands out in the compact sedan segment. The front end will continue to showcase the model's bold grille and be flanked by swept-back headlights for a sporty appearance. Meanwhile, the black roof and black C-pillar will create a unique floating roof effect, and the back will offer a clean and polished look with a small rear spoiler and single exhaust outlet.

Advanced Technology & Comfort

When inside the cabin, drivers will notice that the interior is mostly unchanged. The space is still roomy, ensuring all passengers have plenty of room to stretch out. While the stylish design offers a mixture of soft and hard plastics, quilted leather upholstery, and Zero Gravity front seats for a relaxing experience.

Along with a stylish and comfortable cabin, the Sentra also features a fair amount of tech. The base model has a seven-inch display, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included. In higher trims, the screen is increased to eight inches, and it offers SiriusXM satellite radio, controls for the eight-speaker Bose stereo, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

The Sentra also features a height-adjustable driver's seat and a tilting and telescoping steering wheel to accommodate any driver regardless of their size.

Enhanced Performance and Safety

Current Sentra models are powered by a 2.0-liter 149-hp four-cylinder engine outputting 149-horsepower. However, the 2025 Sentra is expected to feature a new powertrain. The new powertrain is said to be a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine, potentially offering around 201 horsepower. Although, we also don't know if this will replace the existing engine or be added to the lineup.

To ensure you stay safe while traveling to work, school, or around town, the Sentra will have many advanced driver-aids. Base models will continue to have forward-collision warning, automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. While safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and surround-view camera systems will be available in higher trims.

Diverse Trim Options

Three trims will still be offered for the 2025 Sentra. These will include the S, SV, and SR.

S: This base trim is outfitted with a fair amount of features, including a height-adjustable driver's seat, a seven-inch touchscreen, a blind-spot monitor, and forward and rear collision mitigation with pedestrian detection.

SV: The midlevel SV builds on the S trim with an assortment of upgraded features. These include heated side mirrors, added USB ports, keyless entry, and adaptive cruise control.

SR: The range-topping SR combines all the features of the S and SV with several additional features. Dual-zone climate control, LED headlights and fog lights, and a sportier exterior trim with a rear spoiler are just a few examples.
