Amazon is adding to its over-25,000 voice-operated Alexa services by connecting to Nissan through the NissanConnect Services.

Now from the comfort of home, Amazon Alexa owners can use voice commands to lock or unlock the vehicle, honk the horn, flash the lights and start and stop the engine. The technology works with both 2017 and 2018 Nissan vehicles equipped with telematics.

Nissan Altima and Murano Models Top Their Segments in J.D. Power Study

Recently, it was announced that the Nissan Altima sedan and Murano SUV both landed at the top of their segments in the J.D. Power Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study. The Altima led the Midsize Car segment, while the Murano won the Midsize SUV segment. In addition, the Maxima, Rogue and TITAN all finished second in their respective segments of Large Car, Compact SUV and Large Light Duty Pickup.
